Amphibian: Second Part 

My grandmother passed away, and I took three days off to return to my hometown for the funeral. I spent many winter and summer holidays of my childhood on these hills. I’ve heard that a house left uninhabited soon falls into disrepair. I think there will still be descendants to tend to this place and sweep the graves, so it won’t entirely decay, but there will no longer be real life in this house, and  that much is already foreseeable.

外婆走了，我请了三天假回老家奔丧。小时候在老家这片山头过了很多的寒暑假。我听说没人住的房子会很快破败掉，我想这里还会有后人来打理和扫墓，不至于破败，但这间屋子里不会再有真正的生活，这已经是可以预料的了。
