Across the Thin Air
My father wants to drive the Sichuan–Tibet route and invited me along. The scenery changes from day to day as we go, the altitude rising the farther we travel. Each day, the most important thing is to press on before nightfall and reach somewhere below 2,438 meters; otherwise, altitude sickness would make it hard for us to set up camp and rest.
